The Treatment Planner provides patient treatment planning services for the Radiation Therapy Operational Network

(RTON) using dedicated computer systems and other specialized resources to produce optimal treatment plans.

 

* MRT(T) with CMRTO certification and/or a B.Sc. in Physics, or equivalent, from a recognized university.

* Minimum of two years experience in computerized treatment planning with relevant systems preferred.

* Maintain a Dosimetry Certificate (CDC) credential from the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation

 Technologists (CAMRT), a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) credential from the Medical Dosimetrist

 Certification Board (MDCB) of the United States, or equivalent.

* Working knowledge of treatment planning techniques for external beam teletherapy and/or high

* Strong aptitude in three‑dimensional visualization, perception, and interpretation.

* Basic computer skills and familiarity with standard PC‑based software packages.

* Working knowledge of the principles of radiation protection and radiation safety.

* Working familiarity with human anatomy and established treatment protocols.

The Radiation Therapist reports directly to the Manager, Radiation Therapy. The Radiation Therapist is accountable

liaison between the Hospital and local community organizations in order to meet the needs of Indigenous

patients/clients. The CIC provides leadership within an interprofessional team, including other ICCs who report to

The goal of the program is to improve equitable access to care for Indigenous patients and support their return home

through rigorous discharge planning processes and supports that leverage community/region‑based services that are

culturally appropriate and safe. The CIC will work with local communities to support the smooth transition of patients

back to their homes as appropriate. The CIC will be a generalist of services available for Indigenous people

throughout northwestern Ontario. The successful candidate is someone who is passionate about improving the

health and mental health outcomes of Indigenous peoples by providing culturally appropriate and safe care.

 

Employment Requirements:

* Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of

Ontario, or unrestricted registration as Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service

Workers ‑ Master's prepared, or University degree or college diploma in health or social sciences field; work

experience in the health and/or social work field preferred

* Experience working with Indigenous peoples and communities and providing culturally safe and patient‑centered

care

chronic disease prevention and early detection of disease. The P&S prevention mandate encompasses the general

Interacting with a broad range of project partners, the Prevention & Screening Intern will assist in the delivery of

ultimately reduce the incidence and mortality of cancer and other chronic disease in Northwestern Ontario through

The Executive Vice President (EVP), Medical Affairs reports to the President and CEO and is a member of the Senior Leadership Council of the hospital to support the implementation of TBRHSCs Mission, Vision and Values and Strategic Plan. In this capacity, the incumbent is expected to provide medical leadership in corporate visioning, planning, service excellence, and human organizational development, while overseeing program / service specific performance including quality in collaboration with the team.

 

The incumbent is responsible for assuring that medical professional practice is advanced, and that professional staff participate in an interdisciplinary and collaborative fashion with all programs and services. The EVP Medical Affairs, oversees the Medical Leadership structure assigned in the dyad model of Program / Service teams and ensures that medical oversight occurs collaboratively with administrative leadership to monitor overall quality, safety and performance of clinical programs.

 

The EVP Medical Affairs has delegated responsibility for specific medical programs, working closely with the Chief of Staff, Medical Advisory Committee, EVP Research, Quality & Academics, and with the NOSM Dean, Associate Deans and Program Directors. implement and sustain healthy habits, and aims to improve the overall health and quality of life of paediatric patients.

 

The Psychologist/Psychological Associate has a direct reporting relationship to the Manager, Diabetes Care and

Bariatric Medicine Programs and matrix reporting relationship for psychology practice to the Director, Health

Professions and Collaborative Practice. The Psychologist/Psychological Associate is responsible for provision of

psychological services including assessment, diagnosis, and intervention within a child and adolescent population.

Qualifications/Experience

                                                               Diagnostic Imaging Administration

 

Reporting to the Manager ‑ Diagnostic Imaging, the Clerk IV function in Diagnostics is comprised of a multitude of

tasks that together ensure patients are able to access diagnostic services at the TBRHSC within target timelines and

with the necessary information to ensure a safe, informed, friendly and well planned experience

 

Qualifications:

*  2 year Medical Office Administration Diploma from a recognized College (or equivalent work experience)

*  Medical Terminology Course (college level) or equivalent work experience

*  Experience in community wide scheduling

*  Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)

*  Excellent people skills and professionalism

*  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Meditech, PACS and navigation of TBRHSC intranet

*  Excellent conflict resolution skills and demonstrated confidence in dealing with physicians and other health care

professionals

*  Ability to think critically, solve problems and make good decisions to meet patient/customer expectations

*  Ability to follow direction and perform tasks according to standards of work

*  Ability to work both independently and with a team

*  Excellent prior work performance

 

 

Salary Range:  $25.260 to 25.838
