Infection Control
Reporting to the Manager of Infection Prevention and Control, the clerk will be responsible for providing confidential
administrative support to the Infection Prevention and Control team.
The successful applicant must have:
* Diploma in a Secretarial and Medical Terminology course
* Minimum of 2 years related work experience
* Experience with Infection Prevention Control processes including knowledge of the Patient Safety Indicators
* Understanding of Confidentiality and the Personal Health Information and Protection Act
* Demonstrated ability working with GroupWise, Excel and Word software applications
* Excellent written and verbal skills
* Ability to work with a high attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to manage multiple and diverse task/projects, within prescribed timelines, in a rapidly changing work
environment
Preference will be given to those applicants that have:
* Experience in the preparation of submissions to the Ontario Hospital Association and the Ministry of Health and
Long Term Care
Salary Range: $25.260 to 25.838
