1 ‑ Part Time ‑ Respiratory Aide
Cardio/Respiratory
This position has no set schedule, casual call‑ins
This position will involve working the day shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a guarantee.
Reporting to the Manager of Cardio/Respiratory, the Respiratory Therapy Aide (RT Aide) is responsible for
various support functions within the Cardio/Respiratory Service including reprocessing equipment, stocking
units, transporting medical gas cylinders, and preparing patients for stress testing.
Qualifications:
* Minimum Grade 12 Diploma
* Must have health care (clinical) related training
* Minimum 2 years experience as an Respiratory Aide preferred
* Able to work with minimal supervision
* Possess strong interpersonal and organization skills
* Medical terminology and courses in cardio/pulmonary anatomy and physiology preferred
* Strong commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care
Salary Range: $24.093 to 24.480
