1 ‑ Full Time ‑ Administrative Manager
3B Surgical Inpatient Unit
Reporting to the Program Director, the Administrative In‑patient Manager works in partnership with the Clinical
In‑patient Managers and is accountable for the operational leadership, management and quality of care delivered by
their assigned in‑patient units, congruent with the values, mission, vision and strategic plan of Thunder Bay Regional
Health Sciences Centre. The incumbent, in collaboration with the Clinical In‑patient Managers, is accountable for
planning, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating activities of their assigned inpatient areas in order to improve the
staff experience, provide optimal patient care and the delivery of high quality service in a fiscally responsible manner.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
* Licensed with the Ontario College of Nurses
* Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing, Masters Degree in business or health care preferred
* Minimum 5 years related experience, demonstrating clinical expertise in surgical care
* At least 5 years health care leadership experience preferred
Skills/Abilities:
* Proven ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams
* Demonstrated focus on results, quality, and service and can prioritize in a fast paced environment
* Possess excellent communication, problem solving, planning, and resource allocation skills
* Commitment to evidence based practice and a facilitative leadership style
Salary Range: $59.853 to 70.415
