1 ‑ Casual Non-Clinical Screener

 

This position has no set schedule, casual call‑ins

 

This position will involve working the days, nights, weekends, evenings shifts. The shift is not to be interpreted as a

guarantee.

 

 

This position is casual and will be scheduled in addition to your position(s) within the Hospital.

 

Reporting to the Screener Lead, the Non Clinical Screener will be responsible to screen, bar and restrict access to

the general public where there is public entry to the Hospital. To determine access eligibility, the screener will raise

health questions concerning COVID‑19 like symptoms.

 

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

* Must have command of the English language, both spoken and written

* Ability to work a variety of shifts

* Ability to perform under pressure demonstrating courtesy at all times

* Must be able to work with minimal supervision

* Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time

 

Primary Responsibilities:

* Ensure applicable screening questions are answered by all persons entering the Hospital and deny access to those

who fail.

* Direct all persons who pass the screening process to apply hand sanitizer prior to entry.

* May perform other duties as required

 

Job Environment:

* Direct contact with all visitors

* Combination of sitting and standing

* Ability to deal effectively with public

* Ability to effectively communicate with hostile visitors in a professional manner

 

 

 

Salary Range: $17.928
