2 ‑ Temporary Part Time (.5) ‑ Dietitian

It is a condition of this posting that your home unit can accommodate your temporary absence in the event

The Inpatient Dietitian has a direct reporting relationship to the Manager, Nutrition and Food Services Department,
with a matrix reporting relationship for dietitian practice to the Director, Health Professions and Collaborative
Practice. The Inpatient Dietitian will perform all duties of a Registered Dietitian, following the scope of practice defined by the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
* Current registration in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario required
* Experience in the care of patients with chronic diseases
* Demonstrated adult education skills
* Entry‑level enteral and parenteral nutrition support skills required
* Effective communication, facilitation and presentation skills
* Effective patient/family counseling skills
* Proficient in computer applications and software, and the utilization of telemedicine
* Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education
* Experience working in an interprofessional team
* Demonstrate critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to work independently
* Demonstrated organizational skills
* Proven flexibility and ability to adapt positively to change
* Certification in Diabetes Education is an asset
Salary Range: $34.470 to 43.910
