                                                  1 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑ Respiratory Therapist

                                                                                    Anaesthesia

 

It is a condition of this posting that your home unit can accommodate your temporary absence in the event

you are successful.

 

 

The Successful candidate will report to the Manager ‑ Perioperative Services and work in collaboration with the

Department of Anaesthesia.

 

Qualifications:

*  Anaesthetic Assistant Certification

*  Registered Respiratory Therapist and with a current license from the CRTO

*  At least 2 years acute care experience and/or be orientated to the OR position

*  Previous Anaesthesia courses preferred

*  Knowledge of operation of anaesthetic delivery systems, monitors, and supplies essential

*  Ability to perform without direct supervision and be self‑motivated

*  Effective communication skills

*  Commitment to personal and professional development

*  Possess effective problem solving and decision making skills

*  Sound knowledge of CQI and risk management principals

*  Effective teaching and training skills

*  Current certification in ACLS

*  Current certification in intubations

 

 

Salary Range:  $32.430 to 44.780
