1 ‑ Temporary Full Time ‑ Admin Assistant 1
Information Services and Capital Planning & Operations Admin Office

The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to the Senior Director of Informatics, SJCG/TBRHSC
and the Executive Director of Capital Planning & Operations, TBRHSC. The successful candidate will be
self‑motivated, professional and excel in a fast paced work environment. The Administrative Assistant is currently
seconded full‑time in support of the Executive Director of Capital Planning & Operations and in support of the
Logistics Section as part of the COVID Incident Management Team at TBRHSC.
Qualifications:
* Post‑secondary degree/diploma in business or office administration
* 3 to 5 years of senior administrative experience, preferably in the health care industry
* Proficient computer skills and in depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Office Suite including MS Word,
Powerpoint and Excel; as well as Adobe Professional
* Experience with MS Visio and MS Project is considered an asset
* Ability to effectively handle multiple and conflicting priorities
* Strong planning skills and highly organized
* Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
* Strong interpersonal and consultative skills; is able to negotiate time frames and outcomes and communicate
clearly to stakeholders
* Proactive problem solving and decision making skills
* Strong research and review skills
* Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
* High quality agenda development, minute taking and action logging
* Ability to develop briefing notes, presentations and/or policy templates is considered an asset
* Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm with accuracy
Salary Range: $32.566 to 38.313
