French Language is an employment requirement:

As a designated facility under the French Language Services act our responsibility is to provide patients access to Healthcare related to services and programs in French. Our French Language Policy guides our recruitment strategy and selection criteria for certain positions.

In order to ensure access to French Language Services, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre will designate key positions that require French Language skills. TBRHSC will strive to maintain an adequate number of French-speaking employees per shift for those areas identified to provide French Language Services.
